The radio worked for 2 weeks or so but weather was still crap and stopped working again, I thought it might have gotten wet again, tried to wipe again to no joy, have left it for a while thinking it might dry out but no, I am thinking of going to a auto electrician. Is there anything I can do before it costs me to much.

Late to the thread ... are you working now?

My radio pooped out and so did my Bluetooth phone connection. Backup cam was working as was the emergency services connection icon, but the settings wouldn't display, so I couldn't do a master reset.

I have an XL, so it's the small no-touch screen.

My culprit was a small water bowl for Cheech that I placed in that dash cubby directly above the screen and radio. I hit some Boston potholes and a small amount of water, a tablesoon max, splashed over the screen and radio buttons. I mopped it up immediately with some napkins.

The next day, it still wasn't working, so I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes. It worked after that and required the driver auto-window reset.

Cheech sez: too cute to cause problems ...

What, Kate makes you and Cheech sit in the box when she’s driving?

My radio is still not working I have been to the auto electrician with no joy he said I will have to go back to Ford. But we live in the country and the Ford dealership near me is a downright ripoff. I have an XL with the touch screen radio it was raining very heavy for many days, but none inside the car. Almost everything on the screen work's, I have no sound, and can't change source except to CD player and the CD is saying it is playing, nothing else at the moment.

Last week my radio stopped working, at first it made loud noises threw the speaker and cut off, I tried all the features but nothing worked, checked all the fuses nothing worked, 2 days later it came back on for an hour or so gave a loud crack and cut out again, 2 days later it came back on with a bit of crackle , I am scared to use it as it might short out or worse. Also at the same time the drivers window stopped working properly, it does not automatically go up and down only constant pressure on the switch. Has anyone else had a problem like this? What can I do? Where do I start looking? Thanks Dag.
I don't know if this is the way to continue BUT here goes. My radio is still not working! I have taken the car to Ford dealer they said it needed a sink up date, tried first time they said the car won't except the up date, took back to Ford dealer again and it excepted the update but no change to the sound, the Ford dealer said it needed something to be changed in the computer at a cost of $2200 but Ford dealer would not guarantee that that would fix the problem and said it might work. Has anyone had radio or sound problems?

My son had a 2017 or 18 ford fusion an his radio stopped working. He thought it was the fuse an he couldn't get it out. I did some googling an I think it was the module for the info system that attaches to the back of the radio. This was a touch screen set up. Used modules on eBay weren't that bad but no guarantee it fixes it. There is a module reset you can try, google the system you have for the info.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the module is called? Mine is a touch screen, do you know how the module reset works or how do I find it. Any way thanks. Dag

Also my tyre pressure sensors batteries have failed, I have a malfunction warning on the dashboard. Does anyone know how to turn the warning off?
