I have a 2020 XLT and a few months ago the radio quit working and the radio controls dont do anything. Everything else still works, including the climate controls and settings, but not the radio buttons. I can still connect to bluetooth but nothing works. I also don't get any beeps whenever I click buttons on the screen anymore. All the fuses are good, I tried a soft reset but holding some buttons down, and a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, but still nothing works. Any ideas?

Weird… Almost sounds like some kind of internal issue with the radio itself. If you’ve verified you have power to everything and have tried resetting everything, I’m not sure what else you could do. Maybe forscan can help? I’ve never used it myself so I’m not sure what all it can do.

My CarPlay app stopped working when I got my new iPhone and I never figured it out. My phone connects via Bluetooth but the screen doesn’t show my maps like it used to. Aside from that, every radio issue I’ve had with my ranger has been solved by a simple reset.

Thanks for the reply. I'm worried I'll have to replace the radio, which is unfortunate because I actually like the factory radio. Also, I've never heard of forscan, I'm new to this stuff. I'll do some research and maybe it will have an answer for me. Thank you!

It softens the blow to just think "the transmission still works"
I would rather replace a radio :(

Seriously… I tried replacing the dpfe sensor in mine a while ago but it’s still shifting funny from 3 to 4. Sometimes it shifts fine, other times it hesitates and slams into gear. I’m going to have to take it in but I’m trying to wait until the baby is born and I have a minute to breathe lol not sure if it’s more cost effective to have them rebuilt or just replace with new.

My wife’s ranger was still under warranty so her transmission rebuild didn’t cost a dime out of pocket. Mine is well past warranty so I’m expecting to cough up $6-7 grand. Yay rangers! šŸ˜‘
