So this is a new one for me, I was driving along down the freeway as usual just out running errands, and when I exited the freeway, for no apparent reason at all, the entire audio system just went black. No error lights, no other issues whatsoever. After about 30 seconds, the Ford logo popped up and the system rebooted and worked perfectly normal afterward. Considering this is the exact same audio system my 2017 F-150 had and it never had that problem occur, I'm a bit concerned that something deeper is going on. Has anyone had this happen or heard of it happening to someone?

I encountered the same issue a few months ago. The entire sync 3 system shutoff randomly while driving down the road. I was listening to satellite radio and had my iPhone connected to CarPlay (iOS 13.3) following Google maps navigation. After about a minute it appeared to reboot itself (Ford logo appeared) and eventually recovered.

Did you end up asking the dealer about it? No other issues later on?

I was going to contact the dealer if it continued to happen, but it has not reoccurred. Not sure if it was a specific set of factors in play at the time that haven’t caused the issue again.

I thought that wasn't possible right now? I certainly don't have it enabled in my settings...
