Truly beautiful. @DukeCanBuildit sure it brought some memories back seeing that? :)
Yeah, it sure did Brandon. It was a bit different, but my brother‘s one was like this…

I had something a bit bigger like this one…

I know made a few sad with my v6 Genesis Coupe in a straight line...

But it went the other way if a turn was involved... Or braking performance.

what motor is in the honda? b16,b18 or b20?
I put the 99 CR-V B20Z in there along with most of the electrical systems from the CR-V. So the Civic is now OBD2, has keyless entry and cruise control.

ive thought about doing that swap but just havent been sure if its worth it since no vtec but was told it has great tq so it would be fun on tracks

because i cant find a single b16 or b18! without people wanting 2500 or more for just the motor!!!

thats really cool thou man i dig it!

Torque is great, I even kept the stock intake as it helps the torque as far as I could tell. In that little car on 175/70R13 all season tires with Auto-X alignment (lots of negative camber) on a some what prepped track I run 14.3s quarter mile, spinning 1st, 2nd and the first half of 3rd. Would likely be in 13s if I didn't swap 5th for better highway driving. With original Y1 great set 60MPH@3400RPM, after the 5th swap I got it down to 2800RPM.

I have a JDM market 89 Civic SiR Y1 cable b-series transmission with OE LSD. The 5th great set is from a 90 Integra LS S1 transmission. If your car is already hydro clutched, you can put the AWD transmission in, should be easy to make the plate to cover the PTU mounting area. Or use any B-series transmission with the gearing you want.

I'm fairly sure you can. The PTU unbolts and comes off.

Yeah, if you are already hydro get hydro.
