Problems With Steering Wheel Cruise Control Button Cluster on 2017 Ford Ranger XLT

I have recently encountered a problem regarding the buttons on the steering wheel. i have my phone call buttons on the left which work fine along with the d-pad. However, the right hand side of the steering wheel which contain the cruise control buttons do not work. What could be the root of the problem where only half of the wheel work?. Thanks for the help

i'm not familiar with a 2017 ranger but I previously had a Sport Trac and had the steering wheel modules go bad. I found the modules on Amazon and changed them. Was not that hard to do.
