Reopening this thread, my driver's window recently started doing the "bounce back" thing. The auto up and auto down are working fine, but on auto up, once the window fully closes it immediately kicks back to half open. I've tried the window reset and there is nothing obstructing the window. I have also lubricated the window channels to ease any resistance, but no help. Anyone else run into this?

I suspect the window regulator / motor assembly is bad, Moreso the drive cables or the attach point to the glass broken attach bracket / clip.

If you get the window in a mid-position, can you grab the glass and pull upwards?
If it moves, then one side of the glass is hitting the top of the channel (uneven) and it's triggering the bounce back feature so broken attach point.
If this is good, then the drive cable is most likely stretched and it's throwing the sensors in the motor out of sync.

Test....
Please list, by page number, the number and type of punctuation characters. A punctuation character would be anything on a printed page not considered a letter or number. The following is a sample.....
? < > , . " ' & * ( ) + = and all others.
This includes all pages and should include any update pages, but limited to those found in the original manual that came with the truck.
Do not count any found in additional reading material found in the owners manual packet....ie....tire info, quick start instructions, ect. Only count the number in the "manual".
Good Luck.....test starts now !!!
Hey from one old guy to another that’s easily done albeit very time consuming. Convert the .pdf to a Word document and then do a search for each character individually. Copy the search results and paste into an Excel spreadsheet. Then autosum each column.

I’m retired and have no use for Microsoft products anymore but can be done probably under an hour. Been there, done that. Maybe one of these young’uns can give it a go..

Now back to my beer and travel plans ? ??
