power window

2020 ranger XLT.Just put in front door speakers.Now the driverside window wont go up or down after push and release on the switch.I have to keep the switch down til it goes up or down. Any thoughts

Needs to be reset.
Truck on or ignition on.
Close window.
Open window but hold switch down when opening.
When all the way down, now, close window but hold the button in the close position.....do not just hit button and let it go....hold it. When close or open, hold the switch for a few seconds.
That should re-set it. If not repeat.

If you disconnected power to the drivers door module you'll need to reset the "park' locations to that feature works again.

Put the window all the way up, then release the button and pull it again for a few seconds (maybe 5 or 10, I don't remember the timing), then to all the way down and repeat, using the down button of course.

Well, I guess another reply came in while reading other post after opening several tabs.

My favorite section is the part about child safety seats!

Great reading he says sarcastically. I don't have any kids and removed the back seats so it's totally irrelevant to me. But it's there so why not read it?

Big heavy book like thingy that's usually kept in glove compartment on right side of the truck.
Come to think of it,,,,that may be the reason our Rangers lean to the right....the added weight of the manual !!!!

Test....
Please list, by page number, the number and type of punctuation characters. A punctuation character would be anything on a printed page not considered a letter or number. The following is a sample.....
? < > , . " ' & * ( ) + = and all others.
This includes all pages and should include any update pages, but limited to those found in the original manual that came with the truck.
Do not count any found in additional reading material found in the owners manual packet....ie....tire info, quick start instructions, ect. Only count the number in the "manual".
