Tooting around town this evening a Tacoma was slightly ahead of me at the light and I thought his bed rack support and cross beams looked extremely detailed (design cuts, hollowed out points, etc etc) to be made of metal. Must of cost a fortune as all the components were square and solid, not bent metal like most designs, or tubing. Once I got closer it appeared that the thing was made of a thick polymer (or similar). Its hard to explain, but you know when you are looking at plastic vs. metal.
I've been searching around the internet using the most basic terms like, "polymer truck bed rack" and so forth with no luck.
Anyone seen anything like this?
