Pivot tool box question !

Just installed mine...driver's side.
Instructions say there's a pivot lock that latches on the bottom swing post that keeps the box from being lifted off the posts but there was no lock like that included in my kit.
Did any of you have such a lock in your kit?

Mine came with the pivot lock. Picked up the swing case last wednesday from the dealership.

I've long since sold mine. But they came with a pivot lock as well. The Ford branded ones.

Does anyone know what the 4 notches on the exterior of the boxes provide? Are there slide mounts or something i am missing? Thank you in advance!

I realize that this question is pretty old, but the notches are simply there so the same box and lid can be used for either side. They just hinge the lid on the opposite side as well as the latch and hinge bracket.
