That's why so many here retire over there. Their healthcare is great and very affordable and most say they can live on social security there alone.

Very true. I bought a 500K USD annual policy for $1850. That was with past cancer issues, asthma. But if you have a respectable retirement you live very well.

Sad that here some people pay that monthly for a couple.

I don't have any desire to travel overseas but the Philippines are one area I'd like to see. My neighbors son loves it and goes there all the time, he had his honeymoon there.
