Does anybody have experience with something like these on their ranger?

https://www.amazon.com/RBP-RBP-4131ZR-Universal-Truck-Pedal/dp/B01LZ913CW/

I have factory sport pedal covers on everything else I own, but most sports cars come with these as an option. I'm probably going to drill into the factory pedals to install securely, this will (hopefully) give a better feel, and prevent them from falling off over time.

Any issues with installing pedal covers like these, concerns with warranty, etc?

I like them. RGP is a legit company so I would assume they are decent.

Did that once as a teenager, took them off in a few month. Good shoes prevent slip.

These definitely could’ve come in handy while off-roading today. The stock pedal covers don’t have much “feel” when trail braking, which made going over obstacles difficult. I don’t know if this is an outdated technique but I still two-foot autos when off-road for better low speed control.

Is it safe to say drilling through the stock pedals to install pedal covers would be the best bet?

Looking for options as I tried two footing it first in an empty parking lot and the results were not impressive. Could use a wider brake cover and more grip on the gas pedal, balancing the two is much easier on JK wranglers for example.

Those Jeeps you can feel the brakes and engine easily whereas the Ranger is like driving a computer!

The gas pedal is plastic and is kind of thin so I would definitely make sure to drill pilot holes first.

Brake pedal don't remember. My pedal cover kept coming off so I superglued it in place so I can't just take it off to check, but I believe the brake pedal is metal.

The only issue I've had with the pedals is maybe pushing the right one too hard...

The gas pedal actually feels better than many other trucks, but relative to the brake it’s horrible.

If you two foot it while going off road, the brake is almost all the way up to get the truck to roll while the gas is further down.

It’s also farther to the right than a lot of trucks, so a wider brake pedal would be nice.

Guess not many use the brakes to control their crawl and just let the computer handle it.

I prefer to two foot my truck for finer control, so I’ll probably get the Bully or RBP 7” wide brake pedal to get that feel.
