I use them when we're traveling and staying in hotels. It's always my luck I'll get some screaming kid or couple fighting at 2am next to me.

If you've never tried them these work better than the foam plugs. You can break off what you need to fit/seal your ear and reuse them several times. They're not totally soundproof but they work good and are comfortable.
Yes, I take some while traveling as well. Also use them when riding the motorcycle to help with wind noise. I use these. Noise reduction rating of 29db. Comfortable, reusable. I bought big box of them probably 25 years ago and still haven't run out. Tinnitus sucks!

Yes it does! I have it too most likely from to many concerts back in the 70's/80's where they were general admission. We were young and dumb and always got there early to make sure we were in the front row on the floor where all the speakers were. Now I'm paying for it! :crying:

I just use my loss of hearing. A few concerts but more likely growing up just a few blocks from the airport. You should hear us at family get togethers. All the neighbors think we are yelling at each other. No, we are just talking above the level of ringing in our ears...

Haha...Besides being Polish my other half is Italian. You should see what's it's like when that side gets together. It sounds like everyones going to kill each other because Italians are known for talking loud and with their hands. Still today after 19 years Annie will say "why are you yelling at me"?

When my mom was little her family owned an Italian restaurant and all her aunts worked their. Their apartment was above it so one day after school she brought a few friends over and they were cutting through the kitchen. Her aunts were in there talking (screaming to everyone else) and waving around a huge butchers cleaver. She said her friends were scared to death and ran out the back door. o_O

Ear plugs are great, just remember to drink plenty of water.

I am currently working on a side car attachment for my Ranger and when I have perfected the system, I will make it available to everyone on the forum. Silence is golden. Go in peace my Ranger brothers.

Perhaps I just mount the passenger seat in the bed, Brat style!

I find the amount of commentary from the passenger seat is directly proportional to how far I depress the skinny pedal on the right. ????
