My truck just today moved from order processing to "in production". I've read a lot of posts in this category and remember lots of you all being skeptical of the accuracy of Fords order tracking. They say scheduled for delivery 7/28 - any ideas on how accurate that might be. I've got another car to sell before it arrives. :)

Depends on how long you want to be without a vehicle. Even after it is built, you could have delays in shipping. Sometimes the tracker is pretty accurate, sometimes not. I sold my old Ranger about a week before I got my new one, but I had other options for transportation.

Thanks for response. That's what I was thinking - I sold my old Ranger and I have a really nice older Lexus GS430 to sell. Dealer offered me a low trade which is there if I need it. Illinois has a weird law that requires dealers to offer short warranties on everything they sell. My dealer prices trades based on auction prices so that makes them pretty low. Do have the wives Honda, but she won't let me drive that to the tavern :)

If you can, I'd probably wait until you get the new truck. I started selling my old truck a little early thinking it would take a while to sell, but I sold it in 3 days.

Mine originally said delivery date June 9. Later changed to June 7. Was delivered June 5! Love my truck. It was definitely worth the wait. I have no complaints at all!:like::handsinair::party:
