Online retailers

Who are your go to retailers? Only ones I'm familiar with are Stage3 Motorsports and Rough Country. I'm not looking for anything specific, just kinda want to know whats all out there. I have googled, but I get a lot of ebay and Amazon answers lol. I could probably name off a dozen or so different VW retailers off the top of my head, so I'm just looking for more options for Ranger goodies that sell more than one or two things. And don't say Autozone or Oreilly's either .

99.9% of all my online shopping is from eBay or Amazon. Almost always the best price, and more levels of buyer protection.

I sure don't need to window shop for Ranger stuff, but when I see something posted here that I must have then I google for a vendor. Often I end up back at Amazon, but I always look for a better price with shipping before I buy on Amazon. And yes, the return policy matters too, but even Amazon is making it harder on some stuff to return. They will send you into a never ending loop of choosing a reason to return, then to a list of possible remedies, rinse repeat. I think they want you to just give up, but they don't know who they're messing with. If you can't get a resolution, call them. That usually puts an end to that stunt.

I just bought 3 Kohler undermount bath sinks and one was damaged. Long story short they credited me back my full amount and told me the vendor (I purchased through a 3rd party on Amazon) will contact me in 24-48 hours. If you don't hear from them by then we'll close the case and you can either keep all 3 sinks or dispose of them. Now I have 5 good sinks and once the house is built I'll sell the other 2.

One thing I've noticed over the last couple years too is many times if you go to the manufacturers site you can get the same product on their site for the same or less than Amazon is selling it. Amazon charges them a fee so sometimes the manufacturer will be lower because of this. But the shipping comes into play then too so you really have to add it all up.

I was an avid amazon shopper - like everything from toilet paper to vitamins to cat food was on auto refill. but I tended to find the same thing, I could go to the manufacturers website and in most cases get the same items for less or comparable cost. We ended up getting our vitamins from the manufacturer for a bigger discount than we were getting from amazon - and they don't have to give amazon a cut of the sales win/win.

ohh, and @veedubtuner I thought better of you, but you mentioned roughcountry. cringe I am sorry but you are off the christmas card list now. ?

We ended up getting our vitamins from the manufacturer for a bigger discount than we were getting from amazon - and they don't have to give amazon a cut of the sales win/win.

By the looks we should have more then just sliders coming not sure I the time line but sooner then we would have!

Great topic Morgan. I'm coming from the Euro side of things too and I've often wondered "Who is the FCP of American parts?" (Worldpac wholesaler..) Not certain they exist.. Market opportunity? ?
