Old VS New Ranger

To me the new Ranger looks like a small version of the F-150, way boxier. I am disappointed as I do want this new V6 engine but I'm really not into the new body style.
Am I the only one that likes the old body design better?

I agree, looks like a Maverick too, so they have 3 trucks that now all look the same. I'm a little disappointed that my 21 Ranger will shortly be dated, just 2-3 years after I bought it, but hoping they might become more desirable as a result.

I'm with you, I quite like the current ranger as it stands out from the crowd (in a good way). New one does look like a scaled down F-150, which for me isn't really what I'm looking for. Not to mention I got a good deal on mine so I'm in no hurry to get something new. Plus if I was in the market for a new truck, I'd probably be looking closely at an F-150 anyways.

i prefer the 5g look also. the new one seems tired to me already. its not unique looks similar to all the other new trucks boxy tall body huge plastic grill.

I like the current get Colorado's size little more compared to the ranger tbh. Just couldn't get over how the colorado shares the front facisa of a malibu...

That's not usual. Ford has been making the Ranger look like it's big brother the F150 since the mid-size Rangers were introduced. No reason they would not keep up the trend.

I too like the 5G Ranger's looks way better than the 6G version. I want to wait to see the new version live but still won't be getting one as I love my 5G Lariat Ranger too much.

I was next to a new Colorado the other day at a stop light. It was pretty close in size to my Ranger.

Width wise, but in height the Colorado is lower to the ground. I was able to test drive both in the same day.

The new body style sat up every bit as high as my truck, and I have a small lift on mine.
