I installed the North Mountain tonneau cover last night. Overall, I am pleased with the product and think it is good quality for the value. I wanted something that would just cover the bed and keep it dry.
The rails sit on top of the bed sides and are clamped down by three aluminum C clamps. The soft vinyl material rolls up/out, latches in place at the tailgate, and velcroes down on the sides. Since the rails sit on top of the bedsides, my hope is that it will be better at keeping water out than other flush-designed covers.
It took a while to align the latches at the tailgate side and there was not incredibly clear instruction on that or on how tight to fasten the C clamps. But overall the install was easy.
I would recommend this product and am pleased with the quality for the value.
