I get a intermittent noise behind glovebox after shutting engine. Usually after running heater, but not always. My guess is an actuator trying to open or close in the ductwork. Any one else that that problem ??

It sounds like a mechanical noise. I'll take it to dealer before the warranty runs out.

Hi James,

It could also be crud in the HVAC fan. The cabin air filter is behind the glove box and some folks have found rodents have carried in stuff in that area.... Worth checking before taking it to the dealer for the dreaded blend door issue....

Best,
Phil

Good idea, since I haven't changed cabin filter.

Behind indicates it’s toward the rear, if so duct over the wife’s mouth works for me, albeit only for a few seconds..

Is this the dreaded "entirely remove the dash" in order to fix problem?

In my case, no. I literally only had to unplug the electrical plug from the actuator and plug it back in. For good measure I used Forscan to clear the code. All is good for me.
