I’m vacationing in St. Augustine Florida with my 22’ Tremor driving on the beach. I’ve done this a number of times, after getting the truck back from valet (can’t park on the street or at the hotel itself, business ransom man) and attempting to back into a parking spot, a wrench light instantly popped up stating “see owners manual”. No reverse, engine would just rev like it was in neutral, shut the truck off and started it again and reverse came back. Haven’t been able to reproduce the problem thus far.
I’ll be scanning the truck for codes here in a few. Has anyone else had a similar situation to this and if so, what was the cause / issue at the heart of it.
FYSA: I checked up underneath the truck, no visible sand on any of the transmission components associated to the shift linkage.
