Last fall I put on a set of stock size BFG Trail Terrain. Little brother to the KO2's. The are very good in icy conditions and are 3 peak snow rated. Quiet on the road and mileage is about the same. They advertise good for light off road. I do old logging roads and they are good.
Very happy with them. Got them at Discount tire.
I see you live in the PNW also.
How do you like the Trail-Terrains in the rain?
This tires are on my short list. The Wildpeaks are at the top of my list, but honestly I could probably go with a slightly less aggressive tire if it saves a few pounds and/or rides quieter.

In my 2023 XLT Sport SuperCrew 2WD, I spend 90% of my mileage on Interstate and twisty, two-lane highway (10% in town). Has anyone had any experience with the BFGOODRICH ADVANTAGE T/A SPORT LT tires?
I want something sportier for 80-85 mph touring.

I’ve had a set of Vredestein Pinza AT’s for almost 30k miles. They‘ve been great . Looks like they’ll go at least another 30k. They’re very quiet on the highway. Great traction in the snow.
I would definitely buy these again

They are defiantly better than the stock Bridgestones and I feel that they preform well in the rain.

I have a 2023 XLT 2WD that is used for highway driving 90%, 10% in town. Discount Tire changed the OEM Bridgestone Dualers HT (that were knocking the fillings out of my teeth) for BFG Advange T/A SPORT LT. 50% better ride, more sporty cornering, no noticeable additional noise. I would still like to lower the rear 2-3" but, as of 6 months ago, Eaton Spring didn't have the specs on them, maybe they do now.

I don't need a mud and snow tire. I'm always on the pavement driving fast and snow maybe once a year.
The last 3 sets of Michelin LTX tires I had on both my F-150s, and my F-250 started cracking at the edge of the cap before they reached warranty. After years of using only Michelin, I'm done. I've had much better results with Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season. Hopefully, the BFGs will give good service on my Ranger, they're highly rated and the only sport/touring tire (name brand) to fit the Ranger. Already they are more sporty and carve the Texas two-lanes better, but they are said to work well in snow, as well. Less busy sidewall design is a real plus for a traditional (cantankerous) 70+ guy!
What's not to like? Pics soon.

I am starting to look around for new tires for my 2019 XLT. I currently have the Michelin Defenders (which is the second set of tires). They have been great tires all around. Since I am going to keep my truck for the long haul, I am looking for something that is a bit more aggressive without sacrificing noise and fuel mileage.
Hey, Donnie, there are a lot of tire threads on the Forum and about as many opinions, so I will add only that I swapped out the stock Hankooks for Falken Wilkpeak AT3s at 10,000 miles, and 20,000 miles later I am still very happy with them. It is hard to say about mileage since there are so many other factors involved, including my heavy foot, but they ride great, wear well, hold air, and are very quiet. Here is a commercial review but true to fact in my experience: Falken WildPeak AT3W Review (2024) | TireGrades
