They look great. These are the ones I have been looking at when it comes time for replacement. Do you have any suspension mods done to the truck?
Yes, my truck is leveled. The front is lifted 1.2 inches if I remember correctly. My understanding is this size tire fits any of our rangers stock.

Is your Ranger the non-Fx4 XLT? Looks that way, just want to confirm.

Were your OE tires 265/70/17, or 255/65/17 like mine?

They look sweet on your truck and want to know if I can get same without mods. Discount Tire’s site says I might need mods to make em fit. Hoping they’re wrong.

I have a stock 19 XLT non FX4, it came with 255 65 17s. I put 265 70 17s on yesterday and have no rubing issues. I went with Firestone Destination A/T2's but same size so the Wildpeaks should work the same.

What Load Range did you get?

SL (46 lbs each / max 50 PSI / 2,679 lbs per tire)
XL (46 lbs each / max 50 PSI / 2,756 lbs per tire)
E (53 lbs each / max 80 PSI / 3,415 lbs per tire)

I've been looking at either the XL or E. I want a tire thats good for daily driving, but also is a good match to tow a travel trailer (GVRW 4,795 lbs).

I would like to get some opinions ? on their experiences with this tire.

They're all overkill. The ranger has a rear axle weight rating somewhere around 3500 pounds. That means you need on the order of 1800 pounds per tire. To actually need an E rated tire you need to be driving an F250.

Correct, my ranger is non-fx4 XLT. RWD 2020 XLT. Stock tires were 255/65/17.

These will fit your truck 100%. I confirmed multiple sources that the 265/70/17 would fit a stock ranger.

That would make sense...since they're optional from Ford...

Lariat FX4, and no mods.

I liked the soft bounce on the stock Dynapro Tires (265/65/17) and ran them at 35 psi. In the winter when the snow came, I didn't mind if the cold tire pressure went down to 30 psi (Mild Toronto Canada winters).

I also switched recently to the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W's and sized up to the 265/70/17.

I agree with others with the LT rating being overkill so went with the SL (46 lbs each / max 50 PSI / 2,679 lbs per tire). 2ply sidewall.

I've been driving around at the 34 psi, and find it a tad stiff with these new tires, apparently it's a harder compound than the previous iteration of A/T3W's

Looking at the calculator, it output a recommended psi of 28, so I'll probably air down closer to that. Read somewhere someone likes 41 psi, so maybe airing up is a possibility.

**Although this pressure meets the load capacity, 28 psi may be too low for optimum tread wear.
Assessing tire contact patch for proper treadwear is always recommended.

That may set off the tpm light.28 pounds
