After a lot of research I went with Firestone Destination XT's in a 255/75R17 to complement my lift. They're LT rated but a 6 ply so ride better and are much lighter. I really liked the looks of the General Grabber ATX's but drive to work is gravel and I heard they throw rocks like crazy. I prefer my doors and rockers stay chip free as possible. ?

Any all terrain will throw rocks but I will say the Firestone Destination XT will be my next choice. Just a different size

Well...how do you like them? Noise? Comfort? Traction? They look great by the way.

Only had them a day but I like them. I haven't been off road with them yet but they are very comfortable on the road and no noticeable noise. I would say very similar to the Hankooks.

I am sure the Forum would appreciate updates after you had a chance to further evaluate theses tires. Thanks.

Will do, hoping to hit the woods and road to camp in the next couple weeks.

I’ve had multi pile sets of destinations on several different vehicles and I love them, quiet, wear good and good traction, I went with the AT in that size though for mine

I almost went with the AT but once I found I could get the XT in a 6 ply I went that route as I wanted a bit more aggressive tread. The AT's are a great tire also!
