Only a few days. Everything was in stock and they shipped it right out the day I ordered it. Call Frank @Stage3Motorsports direct 623-533-5881 and let him know you're a forum member and he'll take care of you. ? I think there might even be a discount code (DAMPER) for an extra 10% off.? ?
What a damper whore!!! ?

That said my wife’s Maverick doesn’t have one but my Ranger does. I opened her tailgate let go waiting for the damper drop but hell no, I’m glad my belt buckle didn’t scratch her paint..

Did you get yours retorqued after 500 miles or just left it? Eibach recommends it but just wondering if its really necessary.
So when i take these to get it installed. I want the rear the same height as stock, and the front leveled with the rear. Would what i tell them?

welcome to r5g!

to give thoughts on your question. sure new shocks and struts will make a difference. i suggest drive on the stock ones a while and evaluate them in situations you plan to use the truck for. then sort of rate the stock ones on what they do well and what they do not do well. that will help you decide what difference you want from the replacement parts based on how the stock ones worked for you.

things you may want:
firmer, softer, faster response, better weight handling, better on the street, better off road, longer travel / more flex, higher heat endurance for less fade.
im sure im missing some criteria but you get the idea.
we have a lot of forum members and supporters that sell shocks and struts and they often have good deals so shop around r5g when you decided to buy ;)

The rears aren't adjustable and should be the same or very close to stock. Just have them measure the rear height of the stock ones to see where the new ones sit. As far as the fronts go just tell them you want them level with the rear and no rake. They'll measure the rears and adjust the fronts accordingly.

You'll have to adjust your headlights once this is done. BEFORE getting any work done take some tape and measure the stock height on the rear wall of your garage. You'll want to do this while parked about 20'-25' awayThen you'll have a mark to adjust them too instead of guessing. Here's a thread on how to adjust them.

Welcome James. Yes shocks make a world of difference. I have the Bilstein 5100 on front and back. I did that two months after I purchased my Ranger. A neighbor who is a mechanic and major Ford guy recommended them. Awesome! Plus he recommended the Borla exhaust. I did that two months after the shocks. I love both.
Great minds think alike. Love the sound of the Borla

Welcome to the loony bin!!! All are welcome.... though some more than others.

That said, certain attributes of your truck has ensured that yours is a Premier Level 5G forum membership. You and your truck will now be viewed with more than a bit of awe among this esteemed group of folks.

Don't say anything to the other members as jealousy is such an ugly thing. We'll explain the requirements for the Premier Level membership at our next club meeting. Sadly not all can meet the standards required to join the ranks of this elite club. But don't fret for the others. Luckily most don't know any better so they simply continue on with their lives, oblivious as to what they have missed.

Enjoy your truck! :like:
