If I remember correctly, I believe they had it listed for $42.5k when I went to look at it.
That's about what the salesman told me, just wanted to make sure he wasn't pulling one over on me lol. Actually, the guy I bought the truck from was REALLY good and easy to work with.

wow so many local folks lately thats awesome! maybe one day we can go on a trail drive or cook out together.
I'm down for that. I'm off work on weekends. Driving out at the LBJ Grasslands is fun for basic/easy off road stuff and camping/cooking.

Yeah, I was really surprised to see the price drop so much. You got a really good deal on it. Great looking truck. Glad to hear your experience went well at the dealership.

Hello everyone,

Just picked up my 2021 Ford Ranger XLT FX4 yesterday. I needed a new vehicle for work and decided I was tired of driving my Honda Civic (11 years and 211k miles). I looked at the Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and Honda Ridgeline. The Ranger stuck out to me because of the Ecoboost engine and I wanted to try one. Then it was down to deciding if I wanted 4x4 or not. My heart said hell yeah but my brain was telling me to save 4-5k.... Well you see which one won that battle lol. I paid 38.5k+ TTL for it, which was able $300 less than MSRP minus all the discounts on the original window sticker. It had 2800 miles on it when I picked it up and looked/smelled brand new.

Anyway, on to the pictures. Yeah, I took it offroad the first day I had it lol.

I had a FX4, traded it in on a Tremor. Nothing wrong with a FX4. Nice looking truck. I'm from DFW.

have you done the bridgeport park in your ranger?
Yes. It had some flat easy stuff but also some too difficult for me trails. First time I had to use the locker and saw it’s benefit.

Does frame flex count as articulation? Interesting to see the entire truck flex like that.
Frame flex definitely counts as a feature. Those OBS trucks could add a few inches of twist based on the frame alone. Torsional rigidity was not invented at Ford until the 2000s.
