So as the new bumpers come out which will improve approach angle, it looks like the intrusion bars need to go away for maximum benefit. I know ,any have removed them anyway but what is the thought with a stronger bumper having the same impact as the intrusion bar? Since Ford is partnering with ARB do we think that will get the nod from Ford for removal of the bars? Just some thoughts I was having and curious if anyone had an idea

This is a great question! Any input would be awesome.

Looking at the ARB Ford bumper that was announced, it looks like the intrusion “crash bars” would either have to be taken off, or perhaps moved upwards, or come with new relocated intrusion beams. Since it’s a Ford branded arb bumper, I’d imagine they keep the safety parts to spec. Would be amazing if they were able to make more space in there with that bumper!
