If nothing else, it looks like it would be easy to put whatever color you want on it.Color options?... I asked supplier ..

Another missed opportunity...JCR is known for their weird foods like hotdogs on their roof racks. I can’t help but seeing a bbq grill with this one.
Would work great if they made one for my xj- the 4.0 gets much hotter than this 2.3 in the ranger!
What a load of shit. Can't compare celebrity owned speed boats with consumer pickup trucks. The celebrities are probably so darned stoned they think they are on a rocket ship to Mars to meet with the locals there!?!?Your truck came with an engine cover...the hood. Worked for the first hundred years.
Who are we trying to impress by making visual checks of the engine harder and creating better rodent habitat under the hood?
The sixty five foot, forty passenger twin diesel jet boats I drove for a living, the engines and engine room were painted white And nothing was covered that didn't have to be so leaks were easily seen and identified by their color. I applied this to my own boats as well. Leaks and discoloration are often early failure signs and not being covered by decorations makes them easier to see in the early stages.
But, hey, that's just me. You do you.

I still think an under hood oven would make a great excuse for an engine cover...What a load of shit. Can't compare celebrity owned speed boats with consumer pickup trucks. The celebrities are probably so darned stoned they think they are on a rocket ship to Mars to meet with the locals there!?!?
Ford did a disservice by not providing the hard foam engine cover to ALL Rangers and continuing them indefinitely. Just found out very recently how much engine noise is controlled by that cover.
A shame Ford didn't decorate it a bit more - perhaps an illuminated badge?!?!

HAHAHAHAHA that made me laugh legitI completely agree. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to make smash burgers on it.
A dynamat hood liner suppresses far more sound than a little foam cover and makes the underside of the hood look good as well. What a load of shit. It doesn’t in all cases. I had to replace plugs after driving through a very heavy rainstorm.I have a Ford engine cover and there has been some speculation on this forum about whether or not it even will protect the plug wells from moisture.

Another 100 miles later, and it is a very different scent of meat pie filling up the cabin. ??I still think an under hood oven would make a great excuse for an engine cover...
100 miles later, pulling over because the scent of meat pie is filling up the cabin...hmmmmm....

No celebrity owned speed boats. I worked for a company that took mostly cruise ship passengers on tours of the local area. Ketchikan Alaska. Allen Marine Tours. What a load of shit. Any long-term negative from reflecting all he heat back down on the engine?A dynamat hood liner suppresses far more sound than a little foam cover and makes the underside of the hood look good as well.

The stuff has been out for near 30 years at this point and I have never heard of any issues . I have used it on 3 of my vehicles without issue . All of them had fibrerglas hoods and I wanted to protect the paint from the heat . It deadens the sound a ton also .Any long-term negative from reflecting all he heat back down on the engine?
