So I was given this led 20in light bar as a birthday gift to put in the front bumper, no acc to worry about, the bar uses factory holes and attaches perfectly however I am a vehicle wiring newbie. They sent me a wiring harness, with a relay as well as a 30 amp fuse that has a push button switch. I would like to use that to start and maybe in the next few months upgrade your the fascia switches between the 12v outlets under the a/c controls. Until then this is what I have to work with. I have a test light and volt meter but I don't know where to begin. I know there is a power and a ground but there are a few more connections besides what attaches to the light that are throwing me for a loop. Also getting the switch into the cab through the firewall or however...I'm drawing straws at this point. Any help is appreciated and if someone would like my cell number to explain it I'd be more then willing to listen

This is about the best I can come up with. I'm pretty sure it may just be a universal harness but I'm just trying to be sure

I know you don't want to spend coin right now but when and if I go this route I will do a wireless connection to a relay box mounted in the engine bay. I'm not sure about cutting a path through the floor pan drain plug. It wouldn't be my first choice, especially if I lived in areas where water crossing was common. I'm pretty sure others have opined about routing through firewall on here. That said use the search feature using "firewall" and see if you get any alternate hits/ideas. I haven't done it yet.

I bought a light off ebay an it came with the same wiring harness. I haven't run the wire into the cab yet, I just installed the light to fill the hole in the lower grill opening. That wiring diagram by sandbaja looks correct. I had a pack of various wiring connectors from harbor freight an had the male tabs to match the female tabs on the harness. There's a large wiring harness that goes through the firewall behind the fuse box an I read on here you can pop a hole through the grommet an run the wire through it. I ordered a tool to do mine. it's a screwdriver handle thing with a hole in the handle. Push it through the grommet an feet wire through it.

You have a link to the light ? I’m thinking of doing the same but with a separate module to control it wirelessly

That 19" curved light is the one I got. it fits well but I kinda wish I had gotten a double row light.
