Latest update : The part finally arrived and was installed yesterday so I have my baby back . Now it has an appointment on Monday at the body shop to fix the rear bumper damage . It was relatively minor so hope to have it back by Tuesday afternoon . Going to paint the FORD letters of my Raptor grill while they have it . Yea

I did the same exact thing but luckily didn’t damage the shaft. It took hours to get it to pop back in. All because of that video. I should’ve known better, but was happy at the time savings.

I’m in the same boat… trying to get it back in. Any tips?

I was about to throw up!!!! Haha. I almost quit doing business with Stage3motorsports over that stupid video they made and it’s still up!!!!

Definitely worth an edit and disclaimer from them. It was the same video that I followed their procedure on… also popped the passenger side sway bar end link ball joint out when i was fighting with lining up the CV axle ??‍ It’s how things always go for me though. Twice as long and twice as expensive to do something the first time, then have it down perfectly for the future.

Oh irony. Found a tear in my right side CV boot on the hub side. New axle will be here Monday, and I'll rebuild the current one as a spare. Covered up the tear with a bunch of silicone and it is so far not flinging grease, lol.
