I recently had issues with the a/c compressor on my 2019 ranger xlt. I replaced the compressor and the a/c worked great the first 2 days i drove it. Then it sat for about 3 days and when I drove it again no a/c at all. Only warm air. I downloaded the forscan software and read the the truck. It told me I had high discharge head pressure but it said I had a low refrigerant level. It has been a very long time since I have done mu with a/c and I an a little confused on how you can have both those issues at the same time.

you can have those conditions if there is a blockage somewhere in the system or a malfunctioning expansion valve. did the fail compressor possibly put debris into the system ?

I should have mentioned - you may well have added the proper amount of refrig - but if there is a blockage the sensor could be reporting low refrig - this is just a possibility as I've not worked on the Ranger or Ford AC and don't know exactly where the pressure sensor (s) are located, usually the low pressure is on the suction line and the high pressure on the compressed line but not always the case. In other words low pressure may be reported as low on refrig.

What were the specific codes?
If they are P0532 and P0533, those are circuit codes.

Hook up a manifold gage set and compare the PID reading of the Pressure Sensor vs actual true gauge pressure.
It may be possible its just a bad pressure switch and or bad connection at the switch connector.
Due to those codes the AC Clutch is disabled.
I would start with a true gauge compare first to verify the switch is reading correctly.

Was the AC Compressor - COMFIRMED bad before it was replaced?

I am asking if it was confirmed bad due to the fact that if (yes) was the system flushed and evacuated and or Reciever Dryer and Thermal Expansion Valve replaced and then evacuated?

I'm going to assume that you are 609 certified. That said if you are really scratching your head here I would recommend taking it to a local shop that you trust. Even if that local shop is the local Ford dealership, I would still recommend taking it there.
