My Ranger is finally home

Finally have my Ranger back from the dealer yesterday. The 10R80 cratered in November. Dropped it off on Nov.11 so it was nearly nine weeks. While the work seemingly is good I didn't have the greatest experience with the dealer service department. They did a total rebuild which included the notorious CDF drum and the valve body. My next service will be done at a different dealer although it's further to go my son's best friend is a mechanic there so he can kind of run herd on it to make sure it's done right

Seems fine. Drove around this morning and no delayed shifts or unseemly wonky stuff. Hopefully all is well. Just taking a wait and see attitude about it. It's still the best looking thing on the road. Except of course any 1970 red Mach 1

It will shift a little stiff for the first couple hundred miles. I was told to go easy with mine for the first 250 miles after the rebuild then drive it like I normally would.
So far, so good.
