My Loaner Vehicle for the Day!

I am having some accessories installed on my new Ranger Tremor today and look what the Dealer let me drive for a loaner!!! (yes I have a Bronco on order).

Dealer is installing: Hood deflector, rear tailgate lettering, sill plate protectors, side Ranger speed stripes, front red tow hooks and a BedSlide. So I have the Bronco all day. Thanks to Wilson Ford in Corvallis for trusting me with it!!!

Can I make it to Mt. Hood and back before 5pm???

Have fun with it. I have been to Corvallis many times, had a good friend and riding buddy who lived in Philomath, man that 34 out to Waldport was a blast on my bike!!

I liked it a lot. Comfortable and handled real well. I have a 2 door on order and this confirms that I am not making a mistake ordering it. It just needs to get built!!!!

Kinda wondering why they have that thing of all things as a loaner. Considering the back log of sales and all. Unless it is a sales car that they put on loaner due to being short on loaners lol.

My buddy at the VW dealer says they are short on loaners due to parts being backordered.

Right, my local dealer (Sheridan Ford Trucks) has exactly two Broncos on display, one in the showroom and one outside on the lot, right out in front near the entrance. I was able to hang around in both of them during some downtime waiting for (routine) maintenance on my 2019 Ranger. The sales advisors told me that they are for show, not for sale. With only c. 20,000 miles on our current Ranger, I am in no hurry to buy any new vehicle, but that does not stop me from thinking ahead...

Each Dealer received 1-2 Display vehicles that they basically cannot sell for 4-6 months. This is one of them. I just purchased a Ranger Tremor from them and have had a Bronco on reserve and order for 17 months. The gal in charge of loaner vehicles was going to give me a Fiesta.....when the Sales Manager saw me in the building....he tossed me the keys to the Bronco. Great Dealer....put a smile on my face for sure.

Well that explains it. You have a great dealer near you then. My Ford dealer was not too bad but the salesman sure disappeared after he sold me my Tremor. Love how awesome he was pre-sales. Wish I could say I was surprised though.
