I have a xl with no remote start and remote start on the app. I added a start-x module for remote start of the Fob

The only known issue with Start-X as far as I know was for a (ROW) Ranger where the Remote Start would only work if the Door was opened and providing power to the (Start-X) module. IDK if the member ever resolved the issue, as a great amount of T/Shoot was done to help determine the cause of it.

I recently just bought the js Alarm remote start kit and I will probably make a install video on YouTube. And the give a 6 months review on it later.

I have had the start-x since summer of 2021 and never had an issue with it. Works every time as long as I am in range of the vehicle with the key fob.

I tried to ordered the actual oem ford remote Start from multiple different Ford websites. But since being station overseas they will not deliver to my PO Box.

Not sure if the US module will work with the overseas version of the Ranger. Seems Ford has design differences between the us and rest of the world. Probably from our corrupt EPA.
Someone might be more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am.
I tell you what though, the remote start came in handy today after the big snow storm we had. Softened up the ice and it came off pretty easy.
