Thank you! Agreed, love how these tires look on here.

An old psychiatric hospital in my town that's been closed since the 90's. Super cool old buildings with amazing architecture. I end up taking photos of all my vehicles here at some point or another.
thats why I asked! it looks like a place i saw in a horror movie once.. the movie was set in a mental hospital that was being renovated etc. of course everyone dies lol.

Had a local exhaust shop install a Magnaflow Straight-through Performance Muffler the other day. For what it is, I am happy with the results. As others have reported, it adds just a bit of grumble in the low RPMs and once you're cruising it quiets right down. I was hesitant to spring for a full cat back system so this was the perfect in between, and it's cheap. The muffler was $113 shipped from MF and the labor was $150. Once the weather gets a little better I will paint the tail pipe black and throw a tip on to match and call it done.

Shout out to @Polar Bear for the idea!

Installed Morimoto XB LED side markers today. I did use dielectric grease on the connections per the instruction card provided – others on here have experienced issues with water getting in and ruining them. Hoping they hold up because they really improve the look a lot vs. the stock orange markers.

Hey all, here's my 2021 Carbonized Gray STX. I bought it new off the lot in December '21 and was lucky to get it as it was under deposit for weeks prior to delivery. The other guy got impatient and bailed, then the truck showed up three days later. This is my first truck and I had originally wanted a 150 for the cabin space and comfort level but prices have gotten so crazy mixed with already low inventory so it just wasn't feasible. Ultimately I'm happy with how it played out because I am loving this Ranger so far! There's just enough room to fit two carseats in the back (this was mandatory, we have 16 mo. old twins) and it's fun as hell to drive. FWIW, I think the STX is a great option for those looking to save a few bucks while still getting good features and some appearance upgrades, especially if you plan to modify it anyways. Two months ago I had no plans to modify it at all... then I found this forum.

After snooping around on here for a bit, I found some threads I really liked where folks just mildly beefed up their trucks from stock form. Someone called it OEM+ which I think is fitting. I have no plans to do any serious off-roading so most of this is just for appearance and to make it my own.

So far, changes have included:
  • 17" Tremor wheels with 255/80/17 Falken Wildpeaks
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks all around, 1.8" lift in the front
  • Turbosmart BOV
  • Lamin-x fog light covers
  • the ever-important tailgate damper
Potential future plans:
  • Magnaflow muffler swap, black exhaust tip (currently in the mail)
  • soft tonneau cover (have it, just waiting for decent weather)
  • Rokblokz XL mud flaps (also have, need to install)
  • blacked out emblems
  • wheel spacers

Here's how it looked when I took it home in December:

And how it sits as of today:

This forum has been invaluable already, excited to keep driving this thing and learning!
How do you like the ride of the Bilsteins? Considering those vs. Ford Fox kit.

For what they are I love them. My plans for this truck don't include much off-roading at the moment but I hated the factory suspension and wanted to upgrade. For the price point, these are perfect for me. For a total investment of about 1k (including the parts and labor for all four corners, installed by a local garage), not to mention the level in the front, it rides like a different truck. Still stiff, but more sturdy and less bounce off of every little bump in the road. And I'm sure they're plenty capable off-road as well if that's what you're looking to do.

I was on the fence about whether or not I wanted to pull the trigger on the raptor grille for a while. Ended up buying the eBay one with LEDs and though I can’t speak to long term durability, I think it’s pretty good quality. Fits great and looks awesome!

Small updates this week. Added the infamous engine cover and an Aeroskin hood protector. Was hoping the engine cover would help reduce engine noise more than it did (don't really care about how it looks) but I don't think it really did much. I do like this hood protector though, it ties the front end together. I chose the textured option which looks great with the rest of the black up front.
