Wanted to say thanks for all that I’ve learned on this forum. I traded my Ranger in on a 2019 F150 over the weekend. The Ranger did everything I asked of it, but it just wasn’t for me. The interior always felt cramped for space to put things, and while it was fine to drive, I never really enjoyed it...just sort of indifferent to it.

Thanks. It’s a 2019, but was purchased new 3/28/20 so it’s only a year old, and has 8200 miles. Plus, it’s a certified pre owned Gold vehicle from Ford, so it added 12 month/12k miles to the factory bumper to bumper and extended the powertrain warranty to 7yr/100k miles

i have to tend to agree that the size for things was ample in and F150. you never had to worry about packing something just right to get it to fit.
Even the mother in law was easy to put in the bed for travel.

Had F150's since 2002 and the last was a 2015. I dont require the size anymore, so I'm taking advantage of the better fuel economy etc, but i'll never rule it out for the future.

Im glad you stayed in the family.
If you went to a ridgeline or something, you'd be dead to me.

Ha!! I don’t really need the size either, but I hate feeling cramped! And I live 4 miles from work, so fuel mileage isn’t an issue. One thing that will be tough is filling up the 36 gallon tank on the new one. That will hurt the wallet

Funny thing...I went and looked at a Ridgeline, interior was good as far as space goes, and the trunk...that’s cool as hell. But then I drove it....very sluggish compared to the Ranger. Even my wife noticed how slow it was

Very nice. I had tried out a 2.7 F150 before getting the ranger. I was pretty impressed. I imagine the 3.5 is even better. We just received a F150 Responder with the 3.5 at my work but I won’t get any seat time in it.

Very good choice. If the traffic, and stupid drivers weren't so damn bad in my town, and the parking lots weren't getting tighter and tighter I would still be driving my rolling recliner. A 2013 F-150 Platinum SCREW. But, I do enjoy my Ranger.

I know you will enjoy that new ride. It's a beauty.
