It’s all speculation but whatever GM does, it’s going to be a rip off of what ford already did like Aluminum bodies, turbocharged engines and specific off road packages. The Colorado interiors were junk even in the premium models.

That GM 2.7 is no joke though and if they copy the new Silverado interior, the new ZR2 could be a helluva truck. Hopefully both Ford and GM deliver. It’s an exciting time for the midsize market.

It is a great motor but I don’t think ford or GM will add a drivetrain to a midsize truck that will outperform a full size premium model. Ford would shoot themselves in the foot doing that with the Ranger when they already have a hard enough time selling F-150 raptors. I amm happy to see midsize trucks getting the attention they deserve now. Toyota better have something new soon. They are WAY BEHIND NOW.
