Thanks, bud!

I’m about $5k in at this point, and will probably be around $8-9k in to get it how I really want it. Good thing is, I was originally budgeting for a Lariat, but saved about $10k getting a XLT instead with the Black Friday rebates, so I consider it a net positive... At least that’s what I’m telling the wife every time something new shows up in the doorstep. ;)

LOL I wish...I'm actually below 6k...installing my own parts saves a ton of cash...starting with a 36k XLT, I'm still under many stock Lariat trim:like:

Doing your own installs saves a lot of money. Unfortunately, I'm not one who does the bigger expensive item installs.

Tell me about it! I've bought a brand new truck and replaced the tires right away.

.Edit...Now go order your grille lights!
lol!
I'm seriously thinking about those lights. A 3 light kit and I would have ordered already but I'll probably go for them.

Cha Ching!
Another $100 added to the list.

About the only real labor involved with my purchases is the 3" lift, should be a walk in the park, my 2020 is a 4x2 so I won't need to contend with CV joints.
After that, I'll have the alignment and the headlight aim checked.

After I get my RTT mounted, I'll be up there with you:)
Welcome to the dark side.. haha. Cant imagine how much it would cost if I had someone install all my stuff. Would definitely make me reconsider some mods.

What did you shoe your steed with?

This brings to mind my 2000 S/Cab with factory Firestone tires, I hated them.
They were slippery in the wet and dry and squealed like crazy at any hint of cornering.
I had Michelin's installed after 2 years of enduring those woeful tires, I hope the Hankooks are better.

And I might add that 2 of those Firestones suffered from tread separation, one blew out on me doing 60 mph.

Oh ya...I didn't do my own alignment of course...but the ride through car washes are killing me:LOL:

I got a quote of $800+ to install my Eibach kit...that was incentive to get through more blood sweat and tears one more time:whew::)
