Makes sense. But would you be able to grow them year around then?Around here, they don’t last that long. Very hot and humid. They should be stored in a cool dark location… but no such thing in Southeast Alabama. I could dig a root cellar, but I’m not so sure even that would be cool here.
Hopefully they won’t taste horrible.

I may be weird but I kind of like the little ones. They look cute. How tall they will be when grown up?This is just random, but thought I’d put it here. I put a couple of pictures in the Where’s Your Dog thread.
Grandson spotted this little alligator in the creek beside our house. This is a very small creek that runs into a larger creek that runs along the back of our property. Have lived here >35 years & never even a hint of one.
We called the wildlife conservation people & they are going to come & relocate it. They have 2 other alligator relocations they have to do first.
It’s little, but I’ll be glad when they remove it.
Alligators can get very large. I just keep wondering where “mama” is.
They are cute when little, but extremely scary when they get big. Hopefully, that will be the end of that!
