Manual seat height adjustment?

Anyone with manual seats having problems with height adjustment when in the driver seat? In the seat it wont adjust up, have to get out. Weight limit? I'm 205lbs. I only have a few hundred miles on it and when I test drove it the seat was fine height wise, only needed to move it closer to steering wheel and adjusted the lumber down.

I decided to raise it today and pushed lever down once and will not push down again full stoke. When i parked it works with me out of truck.
My wife adjusted passenger seat fine when we drove it home. I see nothing in the owners manual about driver side wont adjust while in the seat. I am waiting for dealer to respond but wanted to check here as well. Lots of knowledge and experience here.

I had to adjust mine without sitting in the seat It wouldn't move up with me sitting in it

Yeah, mine also doesn't work with me in the seat. Had to adjust, get in, get out, adjust again until it was right. Once done tho, no need to change it unless you have multiple drivers messing with it.

I Just picked up a 2019 and the height adjustment doesn't work on both front seats. They both appear to be jammed. The driver seat is in the bottom position and the passenger in the top position. Even out of the vehicle nothing moves. Any thoughts or advice?

My Ranger seats are power. But on my FiST they're manual and the height adjustment works with me in the seat. Something is not right.

I passed on the first Ranger the dealer brought down for me to test drive because of the manual seats. I couldn't adjust the driver's seat, he was actually reaching between my knees trying to adjust it for me! LOL Next one I drove had the 302A package and included power seats and I liked the other things included in that package so that's the one I went with.

Mine where hard to move when i bought the Ranger. Sounded like something broke. But since have worked ok. I just dont move ny driver side. I am the only one that sits in the seat. Sorry not much help, havent moved them in about 5 months

Could be, I don't remember. I think the bar in front was to slide the seat forward/backwards. I couldn't even do that so never got to trying to adjust height, just told salesman no way... I need power seats.

I get a half of a pump either up or down and it jam’s

This is correct. I have the manual seats. The front bar is lifted to slide the seat forward and back. The height adjustment is on the side of the seat.
