lot of faults pop up on dash when remote start is used

hello have a 2023 tremor sometimes when I use my remote start I get in put key in and turn to on and a lot of faults pop up on dash like advance track ,fwd teraen mode, adaptive cruse etc etc . I turn ignition off wait a few seconds turn back on and everything is fine anyone else having this issue?

It sounds like you are not actually fully powering up.

just because you are remote started, you are not fully powered until you press brake pedal and turn key or press start button.

General coldness, icing over the sensors or battery

- Remote start catches bunch of errors when the car is cold
- When you come in 5 minutes later the electronics have sorted themself out while heating up
- Restart clears the errors

Have had this happening few times on below -20'C both on remote start and normal start. First time I noticed this on a normal start and the car was in limp mode, let it run a minute and restarted to no issue.

Nowadays I just remote start the Eberspracher first and few minutes later I then remote start the car. Would not think this is the battery since Eberspracher is draining the 12V anyway, but maybe the drainage is heating the battery/voltage regulator or something.

You don’t have to depress the brake pedal to start an XLT with keyed start. So, wwould it be required when using remote start?

Read the multi page thread I made early this year,
I had similar issues, that got worse.
Ended up being a broken wire in the steering column.

Yes- you must press brake to start with PB. (Normal Start)
I just tried mine via remote start and found: it is not required if remote started so out of habit I have been pressing brake pedal, as I was able to power up just by pressing the PB (Start) after a remote start (Engine Running) this AM
So disregard my previous post, I proved myself incorrect

from the manual:
"Note: You must press the push button ignition switch on the instrument panel once while applying the brake pedal before driving your vehicle."

IMO, that means the brake pedal has to be pressed for vehicles with push button start. OP doesn't have push button start because he mentions 'turning the key'.
I use the app and scheduled starts daily. I've never had to push the brake. I just turn the key and all systems are go.

Ok, I may have to try it again - as I think I hit the brake - then remembered I wanted to try it without brake, it worked.
I may try w/o touching brake at all.
but to address his issue, I feel that if it was (dew) on the sensors it would not reset so quickly, I get forward camera blocked (similar wording) when there is dew or frost but only comes on after I have been driving for a short while.
So something is not powering up properly, that’s what led me to think about pressing the brake.
The way to find out, would be scan the codes before cycling the ignition switch while they are still active.
But if I understand correctly it does not do it every time- Hmm

many times i have started my truck standing at the door, so brake pedal pushing is not required. it is however required to shift from P.

If the OP isnt in any adverse weather, no precip, frozen or otherwise, my guess is that he has a bigger problem elsewhere.

When I remote start, I get in put the key in and turn it to run. I don’t have to use the brake other than putting it in gear.

Took to dealer 2 times no results . I fixed with FORScan Turns out I leveled my truck 2inch front 1inch rear. If you have adaptive cruise control an emergency brake control if you lift or level your rig you need to recalibrate your Forward facing adaptive cruise control camera and radar . FORScan . You must measure the distance from the center of your fender well above your tire to the ground convert those inches into millimeter and enter that in fore scan You will then find adaptive cruise control camera calibration. It will ask if the new measurements are correct. Press on. Yes it will tell you to start your vehicle then it will ask you to drive staying above 40 mph on a road with good painted lines when finished it will say 100% complete and that’s all it takes to fix the problem. Hope this helps anybody out there who’s having the same problems

This is a follow up on my post dealer fixed my issue , A connector that connects to computer was bad causing lost communication with other on board cpu's triggering faults.
