Looking for parking pad top layer suggestion.

Jack--I put a trench drain in front of my garage a few years ago. My driveway is almost level, but when we get a good rain, it will work it's way into the garage which is very annoying. I ended up cutting and busting out about 12" of the driveway and laying in a trench drain. I covered the top with duck tape, added some rebar, mixed the cement in a Harbor Freight mixer and filled it up. The front, back and sides slope toward the drain and after it was all smoothed out, I removed the tape. It dumps into a sump well on one end which is pumped out to the alley. I'll try to find the link where I bought it....it was the best bang for the buck from what I could find.

I run the compactor over it, load up a second layer of screenings and the belt flies to shreds. Takes 30 mins to get someone on the phone at Home Derpo and he says I cant pick up a belt I have to bring the whole unit in so he can fix it.

So I have to unload the trailer to get the thing back on there and drive all the way back down there.

They did give me 24 hours and will only charge me the 4 hour rental time.
