Side note 1911 seats high primers on one strike. The 21 would require 2.

The joys of reloading when you're just getting started.

I never really noticed a difference in my G21SF and any of my 1911's on that score.

Some people never clean the striker channel and/or striker assembly on their Glocks, or then they lube them up after they are cleaned. Both will lead to a lighter than spec striker hit in time.

The more you know...

Or I was this years old when I found that out about those two.

Ya can't be that big if ya had to purchase a sf glock. I kid.
Heh. It actually worked out well. The 21 slim fits my hand nicely and it was the last brand new gen3 they had when I got it. So I got damn good deal on it.

Hey I like the 45 acp, cause it is like me, big fat and slow.
I like my bullets to expend all their energy in what I shot at... Not continue on to hit something else and waste powa.

That is why the 7.62x54 is NOT my home defense weapon. Unless I want to stab someone from like 8 feet away then shoot them.

Unfortunately for me, any of the guns I own that are chambered in 45 Auto are just too big and heavy to carry concealed. I dropped down to 40S&W and now 9mm (and keep moving down in weight in that category), one of these days I will have to buy a better belt... :)

Now a good belt helps. I use a crossbreed 1.5 leather.

Nice rig. Full Caspian ?

I was just kidding about the belt, I have like 10 of them... ;)

I use a Cross Breed Mini (horsehide) for my G43X and also Kahr PM9 (if the G43X grip is going to print on whatever I am wearing). Love those Cross Breed holsters.

It's a pre series II kimber that after about 13,0000 plus or minus 500 I had my first double charge slide was toast frame was good and the steel lined pachmayr grips saved my hand. Been about 10 years since I've reloaded but I think that pistol has some 24,000 rounds down range. The guts are all EGW or Wilson. As the min parts went TU I replaced em

Nothing like a personalized 1911. I love those guns.
