Light switch

i have only intentionally selected the automatic position on my light mode selector dial, which means it is rotated clockwise as far as it goes. Sometimes my selector changes to the lights on position which is one position counterclockwise from the automatic selection. I never intentionally make this selection and the selector does not appear to be in a location that can be accidentally brushed. Any idea how this is happening ?

You are hitting it with your knee when getting in. Has happened to me and plenty of others.

Thanks. Didn’t think it could be possible to bump it in that direction, but others are experiencing it, so I must be doing the same.

Even I did the same thing with my Ranger. If it didn't happen with the ranger though usually it was a shrubbery taken to the knee
