Hi Jack,

One of the biggest customer complaint with SUVs was step in height. Marketing pushing for reduced step in height and thus God created the CUV and said it was good. Off Road performance (Sort of) and easy for grandma to step in to the vehicle. You are a minority of folks that like the lifted SUV stance.... So you are looking at aftermarket to design and sell high lift kits, but there is no money in this as there simply not enough demand.

Time to get out the welder and cutting torch and start creating...

Good Luck!

best,
Phil
Welding is next on my list to learn to do, but I dunno if I wanna do all that lol

Yes and no, something similar, but modern.

They don't seem to exist. Not here in the states at least.
if modern, meh. The only thing I can vaguely think of would be those Jeep Renegades. Occasionally I see one of those with some mods, but I couldn't tell you the biggest lift I've seen on one. Doing an image search online, I don't really see big lifts and huge tires on them like on that Suzuki.

Similar kits for the Bronco Sports probably exist but I haven't seen anything on the road yet.

I do also occasionally see Subarus in my area with small lifts and slightly bigger AT tires. One or two Crosstreks with bumper work, even.

Hi Jack,

I have Arc, Mig and Oxyacetylene, and can weld, but I have found that you almost need to weld every day to keep up good welding, laying perfect beads etc. Alas I do very little and it shows when I crank up the Mig welder... My last big project was our front gate and I spent a day before starting fabrication practicing again to be a decent welder....

There is a request for me to duplicate this gate, but Margie and I spent many months working out the design. In our community this gate is unique and everyone knows us by our unusual gate.

Best,
Phil
