Link one is another thread on radio replacements, with some decent links.
Link two is a link to the Linkswell radio. I've heard good things about this. It does tell you what is and is not retained for options.

Do you have the 4" or 8" radio?
Stay as far away from Linkswell as you can I was a linkswell owner and they are garbage and they do not retain any of the Ford pass at all. Linkswell Radio/Infotainment replacement. Looking for thoughts from those who may have tried it. | 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation) - Ranger5G.com

There are now three models of Linkswell for the 2019+ Ford Ranger.
Gen5
Gen5 Lite (new product, very affordable)
Gen6 (new product)

I'm researching before I buy, but the Gen6 model looks very tempting.

A good online retailer for Linkswell products is ADCMobile.com

I would read this thread before you think of linkswell they are not as great as you think. I had one for about two months before I had to deal with their warranty system and then went back to my factory radio and sold the linkswell. Just a friendly warning. Granted my linkswell was in my Ram 3500 but it was before I sold it and got my Ranger! Also, that ADC Mobile is a good bunch that is who I got my linkswell from.

As stated above, there's a wide range of options and approaches. As much as I would prefer OEM 8", the price is just too high for me.

I've read some horror stories with the massive vertical tablet style ones (a lot of F150 owners have done this conversion), and it's still over $1k.

This is the one I'm planning on doing: https://dynavinnorthamerica.com/pro...1&_sid=d70c1ce4c&_ss=r&variant=42795106074842

Price point is very similar to running one of the Pioneer headunits + Maestro connector kit, but looks very close to OEM and it's running android. This model for our Ranger isn't as popular, but it's very common with 2010s Mustangs. Lots of good reviews on Reddit + Youtube for it.
I am wondering if you followed through and acquired this system. If so, how was the install and are you happy with the results?
