Rodent damage is an automotive epidemic the last several years on account of the Soy based wiring insulation used by most of the Auto Mfgrs. Supposedly it doesn't attract them itself but once they get up in there they realize how good the wires taste. Use traps, poison, 22 rifle, just do something.
