Hi everyone recently I installed some king 2.5 remote reservoir shocks with adjusters front and rear. The new suspension is sick and 100 percent worth it. I wanted to share my experience with y'all, why I went with king, the installation process, and my general thoughts on the shocks.

I narrowed it down to the king 2.5 and the fox 2.5 I didn't consider icon as much because my brothers Taco has them and wanted to try something new. Also, it seems king and fox have more of a focus on speed which aligned itself more with what I wanted. I was going to go with fox because of the dual adjusters but then I found a shop that had kings in stock and does custom tuning. I had a half-hour conversation with the owner about what I wanted from the shocks and a week later I had my own custom shocks. I figured custom with one adjuster is better than guessing with 2 but I'm sure either would be great. I have to mention looks did play a role in my decision I really like the blue but it wasn't the deciding factor. Also, I feel like everyone talks about how legendary kings are and I wanted to try them for myself.
Installation
I installed them myself with the help of some friends and it was pretty easy other than the fact that I wasn't going from stock I was replacing a fabtech 3.5inch lift. It made things a little more difficult but overall it was pretty uneventful I kinda combined the king install guide and the fabtech one with this fox 2.5 install video. I also only got the shocks and not a complete kit because I could reuse my FabTech UCAs.

The new suspension is awesome it has only been on for a few days but it already feels totally like a totally different truck. It feels light, super responsive, and very smooth. I had a really bad speed wobble before which has almost completely gone away (my wheels and tires are contributing to it). I have yet to take it offroad but when I aim for potholes around town I must be missing them! I am super impressed and would definitely recommend them is it the best option IDK but I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
P.S. I haven't gotten an alignment yet so please keep that in mind.
