Yeah, and if you have to wait forever it sucks to be you. I bought Strider new off the lot in 2020 because aside from not having the tow package it was exactly what I wanted right down to the color. There were probably a dozen F-150s and a collection of other vehicles but my Ranger was the one and only other truck they had. This was at the biggest dealer in town.

I had been playing around on Ford.com for a year building Rangers. My Sport Trac was on borrowed time with over 200k on it but it blew a head gasket in March '21 which forced the issue a year sooner than I planned. I was going to order one and just wait but lo and behold the Ford dealer near my office had almost the identical truck I was going to order. STX 4x4 Supercab, tow package, and not much else, even the color was right. Has the bedliner that I wouldn't have got and not the L/S diff that I would have but otherwise nothing different. Added bonus, it is a 2020 that someone leased but turned in on an F-150 after five months because it wasn't big enough so I even paid a little less. Only had 5000 miles on it. Has 52k now.

Some how I missed the Rangerversary thread so I'll chime in. Celebrating two, Ranger was 4 on 6/ 17 just turned 37000 Smiles, but today is more important 72 big one's milage unknown. Party on.
