It is wired strait to the battery. I went though the rubber grommet in the back then went along the frame all the way to the front. The positive is on the battery and the ground is on a chassis ground next to the batter so the truck sees the power draw and will compensate properly.

Do you have a writeup? This is kinda the route i wanna go. It rains too much in WA for me to have to have a door or hood open to air up -imo

I picked up the ARB twin compressor. I just need to find a place to put it. Anyone mount one of these on their Ranger?
