injector cleaner

Has anyone had success using an injector cleaner that helps with cold start engine shudder? My ranger was built in October 2019. The engine shudder has started in the last 5,000 miles. I have logged 12,000 miles on the odometer. I have not taken it to the dealer for the cold start problem.

I've never encountered any cold engine shudder but I run a bottle of this in mine a couple times a year. Mines runs super smooth and I'm getting very good mpg's even with larger tires and a 2.5" level. So I guess I could say yes, this stuff works.

this is a non issue for me. been using sams club premium b/c i had not liked how it was running on the winter blend. its not much more.

Treating the symptom without knowing the cause is ineffective and expensive. Modern vehicles like our Rangers are loaded with sensors and data loggers. the money you’re spending on injector cleaners would be better spent for real diagnosis.

My Secret formula is 8oz. of neet acetone and 8 oz. of anhydrous isopropyl alcohol (99%IPA) every 6 mos in a tank full or gas.
