I'd first ask what you intend to do with it? The OEM kit is only 150W.

The sole purpose would be to keep my work laptop juiced enough to be able to make a 4 hour trip. It's battery probably lasts 3 hours or so. It would be one of those deals where I am oncall and want to go out of town. As long as the laptop has juice for four hours I am good.

I just poked around and can't locate the kit, but my *guess* is it's probably plug and play. But who knows if there is a harness already in place for it.

I thought all Rangers came with the console 115 outlet. Did I miss something somewhere? ?

I've read something about an inverter. And that doesn't seem to be on our trucks unless u ha e the option?

Mine does not have it. The rear of the center console has two 12v plugs. I have the peasant version fx4. My son's has the 110v ac option and he has the plug and two USB ports back there. The only thread I could find was on the bed plug. That's not what I want.

Might need the trim panel with the extra hole. Not sure if the harness connection point is already in the armrest guts. Will need some investigating
