After 4 months, I finally found something with my new Ranger that is bugging me a bit. I washed it and cleaned the interior for the first time in a while. When vacuuming out the rear seat, I noticed that the door seal on the rear passenger side has two rips/holes in it:
The only thing I can think of is that this is the door the dog gets in. It is possible his claws did this as he was jumping into the seat, but this rubber is REALLY thin. The dog hasn't ridden in the truck THAT many times. Probably a couple dozen at most. It just seems pretty flimsy to me.
What do you guys think? Should this be considered "normal wear and tear"?
The positive side of this is that my passenger side turn signal is dry as a bone after Matt at Canby Ford replaced it last week!
